GENERAL
Silent Creek is rated M for Mature. Meaning, we allow cussing, swearing, violence, drugs, sex, etc… just like real life. But just because we allow this does not mean it is EVERYWHERE in the site, there are a few characters that relate to this and you do not know what’s going to happen.

Keep your signatures 500[width] pixels x 350[height] pixels. This way the board isn’t stretched or cluttered, and unless the signatures are 100 [height] pixels or less, do not have more than one graphic in you’re signature. If your signature is cluttering/stretching the board, I will remove it without warning. If you would like a signature made, please PM me with a decent sized image of your character, I will make you a simple signature with a border, quote and name.

NO CHAT SPEAK WHATSOEVER!

Four real life months is one year on Silent Creek, so each real life month will equal out to be three Fantasy Bridge months. Season changes once a month.

ACTIVITY
Random activity checks will be held, be sure to get on and reply to them. I will not send out emails or mass PM about activity checks anymore, because if you are a active and dedicated member, you will be watching for them. If the activity checks are not replied too by the date stated, you will be deleted. Even new members will need to reply to these activity checks. If you are deleted all of your characters/horses/residents/etc will be deleted, and if you rejoin, you will have to start over from scratch. I usually give about 2-3 weeks for you to reply to the activity checks, so you have no reason not to post there.

CHARACTERS
One character per account. So with each new character you create you will need a new account. (What I like to do is make a special signature for each account that links to all of your characters info.) To make it easy for you to remember your usernames and passwords make all your usernames the same (EX: Bob, Bob2, Bob3, etc…) and make all your passwords the exact same. Of course, you don’t HAVE too, but it makes things simpler.

When creating your character, be sure to use the character posting template provided. If we find an issue on your application we will reply to it, telling you what to change/update/add. We do not care for you to make your own application as long as all the categories we ask for you to fill out are included, in fact we encourage you to make your own application if you wish to enhance creativity and put more personality into it, but we will not complain if you use the plain one we have provided. You can add as many categories as you wish into the application as long as the ones we ask of you are included somewhere. Make sure to look at the already taken names and face claims, don’t use something that someone else already is, you will be asked to change it. YOU MAY NOT ROLEPLAY UNTIL YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN MOVED INTO THE ACCEPTED BOARD.

No mary sue or gary-stu characters! No one is perfect! We want Fantasy Bridge to be a realistic roleplay, and that can’t very well happen when everyone is the rich, spoiled, nice girl/guy with the perfect life, perfect appearance, etc… Everyone has flaws. Be original when creating your character! Give them a unique past/personality, give them flaws. Now I’m not saying go make the worst abused character you can, too many of those would be just sad. Just don’t give them the complete perfect life.

I understand not being able to finish you’re [WIP] applications in one sitting, just be sure to take the WIP or ND or not done out of the title when you are finished, because it will not be viewed until the WIP is removed from the title. If you do not finish your character within a week than the application will be removed. (Unless you post in the away board, explaining to us why you cannot get online to finish it at this moment, and you will have up to a week after your expected return date to finish the character).

Since we do allow drugs, violence, and sex on the site, all characters must be 16+. Thank you.

POSTING
Silent Creek has a posting minimum of 200 words. That is a VERY low word count, and I’d like to see you posting more than that if you can, but I understand that lower word counts help plot lines move along faster and stuff. And let’s face it, we don’t always have endless muse (those days are VERY nice though).

We do allow liquid time on here, but it is under moderation, EACH CHARACTER IS ALLOWED TO BE IN ONLY FIVE TOPICS AT A TIME! If the person you have been role-playing with goes in-active and doesn't post for a week, just reply and say "(you characters name here) is no longer in this topic" and than go find/create yourself a new topic for that character. This rule DOES NOT apply to the media boards!

Spelling and grammar checks ARE YOUR FRIEND! Dear lord, if you are old enough to sign up and make a character, you are old enough to use a spelling and grammar check! Type everything up in a Word Processor, if you don’t have one, use the Spell Checker option on the posting! It takes like what, a minute at most, to check on these things. PLEASE USE SPELLING AND GRAMMAR CHECKS!

No powerplaying or godmodding, which is basically taking control of another members character. (Unless you are given permission by the other member to do so for say, like a plot or something you two have planned).

Please, please, please do not role-play out your pets/any wild animals your character sees/interacts with. The humans are your characters, not the pets/wild animals. You can include animals in your posts, just don’t role-play them out.

As stated above in a previous rule, sex is allowed, but do not rape another members character unless given permission too, and than that member must PM an admin stating that they have given you permission to do so.

HORSES
There is no limit on how many horses you may own, and information on obtaining a horse is in the money system. You can either buy them there or check the Bulletin Board for any horses a member may have for sale. Horses may not be ridden or bred until they are at least 3+ in game year.

BREEDING
The owner of the mare automatically gets to own the foal. You must either own the stallion you are breeding your mare too or use a stallion that is on the stud list. (If a owner of a stallion is letting you use their stallion that is not on the stud list, PM me the details first and allow me to approve it before you post horse stats to have the horse bred.) You do not need permission to use a stallion on the stud list. Mares can only breed once every 2 real life months. You must wait 2 real life weeks after a staff member has posted the foal stats for your mare to birth the foal.

HORSE POINTS
Points are used to make the horses more valuable, the more points a horse has the more elite it is. Points can be earned at shows or bought in the Money System. The horse points are kept track of in the Horse List topic. Foals are born with points (add both of the parents total points together and divide by 2 and that’s how many points the foal will have).

SETTING UP/ENTERING SHOWS
Members can set up one show a month (setting up a show is free). Include an entry fee (you get all the profits made from your show), the show type (dressage, jumping, barrels, poles, etc...), the date the show will be judged, the weather on the day of the show, and a description of the course (everyone knows the course for poles and barrels, but if you're doing something like jumping or dressage, you need to explain how the course will look, pictures are fine). Whoever set up the show gets all of the entry fee money that is obtained through people entering the show.

After you set up the show, wait until the judging day that you set, on that day you will read all the entrys and order them from first to last place. You get to judge the shows you set up and than PM me after you have judged the show. (If the show hasn’t been judged and it’s been over a week since the expected run date, PM me and I or another staff member will judge the show.

You cannot enter any shows until you’ve set up a show. School horses cannot be used in shows. And you may only enter one character and one horse per show, and you can enter as many shows as you wish. You must role-play out the shows when you enter them. Read the information that the creator of the show provided before entering that show, there are entry fees.

After the show is judged, I will come through and add the points.
First Place gets 400 points
Second Place gets 300 points
Third Place gets 200 points
Fourth Place gets 100 points
Anything else gets 50 points
